I am Debbie Cooper,
I am a mindfulness practitioner. My training was with the Clear Mind
Institute and I enjoy deepening my practise by attending workshops
and retreats provided by Insight Meditation, Action for Happiness and
others. Learning more and developing further is very important to
me. I have been practising yoga for over 30 years and more recently
I have embraced mindfulness. I draw on my experiences from a variety
of workplaces both as an employee and as a company director, and from
my parental experiences of bringing up three lovely children. I write

I blend my experiences together to deliver balanced and practical mindfulness sessions to help people address the challenges in their lives, these challenges may have not been acknowledged before. Sometimes the sessions can be an awakening to the realisation that people can change their circumstances and how they interact with others, usually in a kinder and more considerate way.
I facilitate mindfulness sessions at workplaces – these are well received with a core of regular attendees who report a feeling of calmness, release of tension, improved concentration and confidence. A number of the attendees have suggested that I should share these experiences with other organisations and I would welcome the opportunity to provide these enjoyable sessions as a welcome break from your busy working day and to be the catalyst that provides opportunities to turn-off the auto-pilot, listen to yourself and find your inner space. I can visit your work place on a weekly basis to facilitate mindfulness sessions for groups of between 4 and 12. I only need a quiet meeting room or break out area that can accommodate this number of people and I will bring along anything else required for the tailored sessions.
My small, friendly local public sessions are popular and I'm always looking for new venues to hold them in the Sevenoaks/Oprington/Bromley area. My sessions typically range from 1 hour to 2 hours - full details can be found on my Events page.
